Meet Justin

huffman
Justin

I am a Christian, husband, papa, pastor, and author—and thankful to God for each.

A graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary (MATS) and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (DMin), I ministered in the States for over 15 years and am now serving in Toronto as lead pastor at Morningstar Christian Fellowship—a church of over 70 ethnicities, located in one of the most diverse communities in the world. I have traveled to every continent except Antarctica—because, as my youngest son has observed, penguins don’t need the gospel. My wife Chau and I have four children: Edmond (from Russia), Ransom and Avery (from Vietnam), and Eva (from Arkansas).

I have contributed articles to The Gospel Coalition, For the Church, Union Publishing, Servants of Grace, Gospel-Centered Discipleship, Fathom Magazine, and Third Millennium. My writing has been featured on The Gospel Coalition, Challies.com, ThomRainer.com, and Christianity.com, among others. I authored Grow: the Command to Every Expanding Joy and Adorned: How to Grow a Biblically Beautiful Church. My newest book is entitled Behold: an Invitation to Wonder. I also publish Daily Devotion, which is now a top-rated iTunes/Android app with over half a million downloads.

My passion is to help people see the relevance and sufficiency of God’s Word for daily living. If you see the need for that in your life then—please linger here awhile, look around, enjoy the resources, and share them with others. You can also follow me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Are you starving for want of wonder?

God tells us, over and over again, to focus our starving souls on the superb reality of who He is, what He is doing, and what He promises to do for all who trust in Him.

And God’s invitation to glory in Him is nowhere more explicit than in the repeated command to ‘Behold.’

Justin O. Huffman invites us to meditate on ten of the occasions the command ‘Behold’ is used in the New Testament, and to feast on the wonderful truth we find there.

“Justin Huffman takes the familiar truths of Christ’s gospel and helps us to view them again with wonder—a sense of glory that both fascinates us and fills us with awe. Here is a book that focuses attention on Jesus and says, ‘Behold your God!’.”
     —Joel Beeke

“Behold provides a corrective lens for us to see that there is more to life and invites us to satisfy our deep soul–hunger by feasting on Jesus, the Son of God.”
     —Joel Morris
